I had a fantastic stay at this guesthouse in Bagan. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, allowing me to check in early and even providing breakfast on my check-in day. The breakfast itself was delicious, with a wide variety of choices and fresh fruits. I also appreciated the complimentary bottled water, tea, coffee, and cookies available all day. The hotel's location in a quiet side street was perfect for exploring the old Bagan area. The price was very reasonable for the quality of service and amenities offered.
Not a single complaint about my stay at this hotel.

the staff at Golden Rose were incredibly nice and helpful, assisting with services like e-bike rental, laundry, and taxis. They even provided free cold water and hot coffee throughout the day. My room was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities I needed, including air conditioning, WiFi, and a private bathroom. the bed was big and comfortable, and breakfast was included in the very reasonable price. Speaking of breakfast, it was served on the rooftop and was absolutely amazing, with a variety of delicious local dishes. I highly recommend Golden Rose Guest House for a perfect stay. Cons: Cannot find any fault. 😊.

During my Christmas stay, I loved the fact that I could rent e-bikes right outside the hotel, which made exploring the nearby attractions very convenient. The breakfast was delicious and served in a refreshing open-air venue, with plenty of Myanmar typical meals to choose from. the hotel had a friendly and helpful staff that made our stay even more enjoyable.
The room was not cleaned every day, with dirt accumulating under the bed. The Wi-Fi connection was very slow and unreliable, and the staff had some difficulties understanding English, which made communication somewhat challenging.

Loved the warm welcome of the family-run guesthouse. the delicious breakfast with local options made our mornings unforgettable. the location was great, it gave us easy access to nearby scooter rentals. We enjoyed exploring the temples with ease. the guesthouse offers affordable and excellent dinner options.
That the walls were a bit thin, so we could hear people in the hallway or using the facilities. it is expected in guesthouses in Asia.

Great location with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation options. The breakfast provided was simple but sufficient to fill our stomachs. We also had a fantastic view of the hot air balloons from the top floor during our morning meal.
The rooms were in dire need of repair and renovation, especially the bathroom and toilet bowl. The old wooden smell in the room was quite unpleasant.

During my stay at Golden Rose Guest House, I was able to check in early, which was a pleasant surprise. The room I stayed in on the second floor was clean, spacious, and had all the necessary amenities. The rooftop garden was a great spot for breakfast, which was delicious and filling. There were also plenty of restaurant options nearby, including a curry restaurant just across the street. The location was convenient, within walking distance to Shwezigon Pagoda and other attractions. I had a great experience and would recommend this guest house.
